Lana Payne outlined Unifor’s position on imports of made-in-China EV imports, calling for action to protect Canadian autoworkers. Payne joined Premier Doug Ford, Flavio Volpe, President of the Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association, and Brian Kingston, President and CEO of the Canadian Vehicle Manufacturers’ Association, in a joint message from labour, government, automakers, and parts suppliers on the urgent need for a coordinated policy response.
