Canadians will not back down in Trump's trade war

This past year has tested workers across the country. The trade war has brought real uncertainty into our workplaces and our communities, and too many families are feeling the impact.

Workers didn’t create this crisis, and workers cannot be the ones who pay for it. To fight and win this trade war, everyone has a role to play. Governments must step up and defend Canadian jobs. Corporations must honour their commitments and invest in the communities that built their success. And workers must stand united, ready to push back against decisions that leave us behind.

Even in a difficult moment, our union is focused, determined, and working to protect every single Canadian job we can. Solidarity is our greatest strength.

We are one union.
We are one family.
And we are not backing down.
